FAQ
Q: How should I dress for Sunday worship?
A: There is no formal dress code for Sunday worship. Come as you wish, casual or more formal. All we ask is that you dress modestly out of consideration of others so that it does not detract from the worship of our Lord.
Q: I’m not a Christian, but am interested in knowing more about the Christian faith. Am I welcome to come?
A: We believe that the Gospel message meets people where they are. We encourage all to come to our congregation whether they are Christian or not. Our worship service is centered on the grace of our Lord in hope that everyone may feel the welcome nature of God’s love and the restoration God offers to this world through Christ.
Q: What types of people attend your church (e.g. ethnicity, age groups, singles/married, etc.)?
A: Our church primarily consists of young Asian-Americans. However, it is not the goal of NCPC to solely be an “Asian-American” church. We believe the gospel does not draw lines between ethnicity, age, socio-economic class or gender. At our core, we pursue to be a “biblically functioning community” and make every effort to welcome all equally without distinction.
Q: Why does your church consist of two campuses?
A: We encourage you to view "Our Story" to see how God has led us to form two campuses. Also, check out the campus pages to see the different “flavor” of each campus.
Q: I’d like to check out the church. How do I get there?
A: Click the Find Us link and just type in your address or location. It will give you directions to the campus you are interested in.
Q: I’m interested in attending a small group at your church. How do I get connected?
A: You can contact Pastor Chad Pirotte for the Chicago campus or Pastor Frank Cho for the suburban campus. Or, you can simply find a group in your area by clicking on the Community link on our home page.
